Students at Cactus Ranch Elementary are invited to sign up for this amazing opportunity to put on a full musical right at your school!

 

Interested in signing up? Please follow the steps below IN ORDER!

1) Fill Out an Audition/Conflict Form

Due by Monday, January 29th at 5pm!

This tells us you will be at auditions.

It's okay to have rehearsal conflicts! We expect everyone may have a few. Please just be honest and up front about them so that we can create a schedule! 

​

 

2) Auditions are on Wednesday, January 31 from 3:00-5:00. All audition information will be emailed out to you after you sign up.

At 5:00 on audition day we will let students know if they need to stay for callbacks from 5:00-6:30.

Please be prepared to pick up your child at 5:00. If they are asked to stay, we ask parents to come back at 6:30.

FAQ:

Will every student get a role?: We plan to take as many students as we can into the production. With that said, if too many students audition we will try to find backstage/tech jobs for students who do not get cast.

I have a weekly conflict on Wednesdays or Fridays. Can I still audition? : Yes! Please just let us know about your conflict. We will do our best to make sure that you are only called to rehearsals on the day of the week that you are available. Mandatory rehearsals are on Tuesday, April 2nd and Wednesday, April 3rd. Please be prepared to prioritize the show on those days.

I have a few appointments and conflicts during rehearsal times. Is that ok? Yes! Please just disclose these on your conflict sheet when you sign up so that we can work around them as best as we can.

How many performances will there be? There will be two total performances. One will take place during school hours and the main public performance will be on Friday, April 5th at 7pm.​

I've never done this before. Is this program for someone like me? Absolutely! We welcome all ability levels and can't wait to work with everyone at their current level.
